I grew up in rural farmland, 30 minutes from the nearest grocery store. I’m an artist, a journalist, and a once small business owner. I’m a working-class woman who put myself through a writing degree at OSU in the face of chronic illness, full-time work, and my mother dying of cancer.
I never planned to be a politician, but my entire life has been filled with unprecedented, once-in-a-lifetime events. Something is very wrong, and I will do the work to set things right that others won’t.
Our government is filled with ultra-rich, sellouts, cowards, and representatives who prioritize their largest donors over the needs of their constituents.

PEOPLE-FIRST POLICY: I will never prioritize the demands of a donor or lobbyist over the needs of Oregonians.
RAPID RESPONSE: Action shouldn’t take weeks, months, and years. We can make change and make it quickly. I will act with the urgency needed in this environment, both on the house floor and here in Oregon.

Why Are You Running?
I want corporate and foreign money OUT of our elections, and I want the government to serve the people. I also want working-class representatives who follow their word and vote in the best interests of their constituents, not their biggest donors.
It’s hard to know who to trust these days, but I know I can trust myself to stand up to corruption. I have no interest in bribes and blood money, I just want liberty and justice for all.
Why Run Against Janelle Bynum?
Rep. Bynum presents herself as a working-class, small business owner but in reality owns four McDonald’s franchises and has a net worth over $10 million. Israel is currently conducting a genocide in Palestine, a fact supported by the United Nations and other major organizations. Their right to defend themselves does not extend to the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people, and the US should not be supporting, funding, or arming the genocide that has taken tens–if not hundreds–of thousands of civilian Palestinian lives.
The Jewish people do not deserve to be automatically associated with a government they do not necessarily support, and many Jewish organizations have taken a strong stance against Israel and Netanyahu’s actions.
